In this course you will learn about the different modules of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), such as ISMS policies, procedures, performance measurement, management commitment, internal audit, management review and continuous improvement.

• Introduction to the concepts of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022
• Information Security Management System requirements and certification

The course content is based on the official PECB examination syllabus.

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about information security and familiarize themselves with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 for an ISMS.

No formal knowledge is required.

The PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation certification is fully compliant with the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:

• Domain 1: Basic principles and concepts of an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Domain 2: Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)

Online (you will receive an exam voucher from Digicomp), multiple choice, Number of questions 40, Duration: 60 minutes, language: English, closed book

Exam language & duration
If you choose an examination language that is not your mother tongue, you will receive 20% more time.

At the moment the courseware is not available in German, therefore the course is held in German with English documentation.
