 Unlike the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course, which focuses on using Scrum, the Scrum Framework and the role of the Scrum Master, the PSM II is an advanced course that helps participants understand the different viewpoints and behaviors of an effective Scrum Master and Servant Leader while deepening their understanding of how they support the development team, product owner, and organization.

 This course is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises, and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement. 
You will receive the courseware as a pdf after your course.  The Professional Scrum Master II course is an advanced course specifically designed for experienced Scrum Masters who have a thorough understanding of the Scrum framework.  It is particularly beneficial for those people with at least one year of Scrum Master experience. Anyone attempting the PSM II must have advanced Scrum knowledge, in-depth Scrum experience and/or have taken the Professional Scrum Master course prior to taking this assessment. The PSM II assessment is very difficult, and consists of multiple-choice questions based on your knowledge of Scrum and how you would handle real-world situations. We recommend the previous visit of the following course:
In order to take the official Scrum.org exam after the training, we will register you with Scrum.org for the exam. During the training you will receive an email from Scrum.org asking you to create a Scrum.org account (if you do not already have one).

After successfully completing the training, you will receive another email from Scrum.org with the password for a free trial of the «Professional Scrum Master II» certificate. It is a multiple choice online test with 30 questions (in English) lasting 90 minutes. With a result of at least 85% you receive the certificate. The price is included in the course. You can take the exam, regardless of location and time. 

If you attempt the PSM II assessment within 14 days after completing the course and do not score at least 85%, you will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.
