Training or further education in information security usually starts for any Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with the ISO/IEC-27001 standard. This is because the ISO/IEC-27001 standard specifies the requirements needed to establish, implement, maintain and continuously improve a documented information security management system (ISMS).
